Delaware Beach Photography Session

Hi there!! I wanted to let you all in on a little secret! I decided to open up some time slots for sunrise sessions on the Delaware coast beaches. If you are unaware, I spend many weekends in Delaware during the summer – it’s one of my favorite places! After a lot of people asking about photo shoots at the beach, I thought it’d be a great idea to open up some beach sessions. Sunrise in Delaware is GORGEOUS. The light is soft and beautiful, the sun is just off the water, and there are very few, if any, people […]

Photographs on the Walls

It is the digital age and we’re all guilty of so many things that come with technology being so accessible. One of those things is taking a bajillion photographs on our cell phones, dumping them to the cloud or onto our computers, and rarely going back to look at them. Even as a photographer I am guilty of this… like you should see the amount of images I take of my dogs that I don’t delete because they’re so cute but don’t do anything with. But as a photographer, I believe STRONGLY in doing something with at least SOME of your images. […]

2018: Business & Personal Goals

Hi there! It’s 2018 and everyone is having a hard time writing the date. People are hitting the gym and eating healthier and working hard to better themselves. I used to think new years resolutions were silly but I realized I can’t get on anyones case for wanting to work on themselves. A new year is a good benchmark for time. Instead of making new years resolutions, I like to set year goals. And boy do I have a lot of them – and they’re all over the place. Let’s dive in, shall we? Make my clients’ experience working with me fantastic. I […]

UK, Paris, Amsterdam | Part 3

If you haven’t read part 1 (UK) yet, you can find that here. If you haven’t read part 2 (Paris) yet, you can find that here. We woke up quite early and headed to the train station to catch our train from Paris to Amsterdam. We got baguettes and croissants and coffee in the station. We boarded the train and had a nice 3-hour long train ride, stopping in Brussels, and then on to Amsterdam. The train station in Amsterdam was SO cool. Like quite pretty. We stepped outside and it felt spectacular! It was such a beautiful day. I had been told […]

UK, Paris, Amsterdam | Part 2

If you haven’t read part 1 yet, you can find that here. After a 2-hour train ride from London to Paris we have to taxi and went straight to our Airbnb. The Airbnb was really cute and it was just a quick 15-minute walk to the base of the Eiffel Tower. Even though it was quite late when we arrived, we walked there our first night and as soon as we got to the base the lights started twinkling! At the Eiffel Tower there are people who are trying to sell you all sorts of stuff while you’re hanging out […]

St. Thomas, USVI | Adult Spring Break

I’m a spoiled, spoiled child. I’ve had the privileged of going to the caribbean more times than I can count. When I was 15, my parents bought property on St. Thomas, so the amount of time I’ve been able to go has increased dramatically since then. My parents were going down to St.Thomas for vacation and invited my brother and me, as well as 18 others, to join them. I like to call it Adult Spring Break, and I’ll tell you why shortly, but here are some tropical photos to get you amped for summertime. Okay, so upon arrival, I […]

#NoFilter – A Photographers Plea

Hello there, I’ve got a bone to pick with the internet. I don’t know about you but when Instagram first became popular it was SUPER fun to play with filters. I was all about that life. Adding filters and borders to the photos I took on my cell phone just made them super awesome and so great. The colors popped, it looked hazy, just cool stuff happened. If you take the time to scroll all the way down to the bottom of my Instagram, you will see some gems with Valencia and X-Pro II slathered on. #NoFilter. JK. But now, […]

Cute DC Date Ideas

I’m a simple lady. Not saying I don’t like to be wined and dined, but I’m quite content with date night being take out and watching the Caps on TV. However, I also love DC and I love exploring, so I came up with a few cute DC date ideas! Do a paint and wine class! I recently did this with some friends of mine and but it was so fun and would be a really fun date! The one I went to was called Uncork’d in Adam’s Morgan and it’s was a ton of fun. Only downside to this […]

The Life of Mango

I wanted to take the time to write a little piece about Mango the Weimaraner. If you’re unaware, Mango was my brother’s puppy (and mine too but he doesn’t like to admit it), who we got in August 2016. On Monday, January 23, 2017, Mango had to be put down as she had developed intestinal intussusception and her health was declining incredibly rapidly. She hadn’t been feeling well over the weekend; she’d been throwing up but her behavior wasn’t much different so we thought she just had a bit of a stomachache. After a few hours at the vet, it […]
